In memory of 24-year-old Jodi Thornton and her three year-old daughter Ella Harman from Coningsby, Lincolnshire.

Mother and child died in a car crash near Woodhall Spa.

Jodi's mother Janet Thornton said: "Jodi and Ella were absolutely beautiful.

"Jodi had a Julia Roberts smile that lit up a room and Ella was the image of her mother.

"They meant everything to me.

"Both of them touched everyone's lives and gave us so much.

"I feel completely numb but keep telling myself that it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

Danny Harman, Ella's father and the partner of Jodi until a few months ago, said: "Ella loved riding and was so excited every Saturday morning when we went to the stables.

"She was just bursting with energy and had a real zest for life."

A 61-year-old man, John Edward Knight, was also killed in the crash and two other drivers were injured.

Jodi was an amazing and special daughter that I had the priveledge to see. And your granddaughter was so much like Jodi, Ella, so cute with a smile to end all smiles.
I have never forgotten how much your family have done for me, all be it I seemed to vanish off the face of the earth for a while. I will always remember the good times with Jodi, the love you had for one another never ceased to amaze me. The joy Jodi gave one and all with forever stay in our hearts.
